Can anyone tell me if there are shops or supermarkets selling Indian spices and cooking ingredients in Phnom Penh.

There are at least three I can think of. Two are off Street 63 in BKK1. There is one on the corner of 63 and (I think 288 or thereabouts) and one on the corner of 63 and 310. There is another on Street 15 or 13 in the city, but I forget the exact address.
Spices, pulses, chutneys and pickles etc etc. Everything you need.

The one near Psar Ja is called Cambay Indian Provision #22 St 17.
It might also be worth a try to go and talk to the owner of Sher-E-Punjab/Kathmandu kitchen (I guess it is the same?) and ask where they source their staff?

Cambay Provisions on St 17 is the best. Cheap and good quality. If you're feeling lazy, just SMS her a list of stuff you want and they'll deliver. Make sure you tell her to send small packets or you'll get restaurant sized bags of spices.
