Mini DV tapes => DVD
Mini DV tapes => DVD
Is there a place in PP where I can have my old mini DV tapes transferred to DVD?

It's been years I haven't been to their shop so I don't even know if they are still here but the big fuji shop on Monivong close to central Market used to do it.
In any case many wedding camera men still use mini DV cameras and give their clients a DVD so just ask any big picture shop.

I have few old legit DVDs that i bought years ago in England that I'd like to get put onto a thumb drive if possible so I can just watch through my PC or laptop into the TV like i usually do.. I've tried looking online to download from torrents but theyre just not there unfortunately.
I have an old laptop with a DVD drive, but Ive tried for ages and just couldn't get the DVDs to show up long enough to start copying them or even watch them. I don't really want to buy a DVD player, i know theyre cheap but I'd only use it once in a blue moon. I'd maybe buy a external DVD drive to plug into MY PC (which doesn't have a drive) if i can find one for $10 or something.
Other than that, does anyone know a shop that would be able to copy an original DVD into some kind of watchable digital format at all please?
Thanks

How much are you willing to pay? Used to take me about an hour per DVD. If you want to learn more, maybe start here: videohelp.com . It's where I started over 20 years ago.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 12:13 pmI have few old legit DVDs that i bought years ago in England that I'd like to get put onto a thumb drive if possible so I can just watch through my PC or laptop into the TV like i usually do.. I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.
There's the one remaining dvd store on the riverside. They've transferred dvds to usb for me. Perhaps they can help

Or maybe you could post a list of the titles here, and some of us might be able to find them online.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2020 12:13 pmI have few old legit DVDs that i bought years ago in England that I'd like to get put onto a thumb drive if possible so I can just watch through my PC or laptop into the TV like i usually do..
