It looks like Gav missed his connecting bus by 15 min's and he is just waiting until the next bus to arrive.
Nothing wrong with that.
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

I suspect the suitcase full of his ex girlfriend's used underwear. He's not sleeping, he's mourning.

This is really sad. Why is everyone razzing the guy? I assume he went there and didn't budget correctly or even had an issue with theft. It could happen to anyone. When I was in ស្វាយរៀង for a bit I felt like if anything went wrong I too would be so very far from home.

Like if you lost all your money at the casino and a Vietnamese hooker took off with your wallet and passport?

But seriously, what were you doing in Svay Rieng?

I'd assume he was drunk as fuck and fell asleep in the middle of the road. If you were honestly stuck and explained it to people here most would guide you to a sala or shelter or even let you stay in a hammock under their house.

I have a penpal there who is a monolingual Khmer farmer. We chat by FB messenger. She is the cousin of my old Khmer teacher, who originally gave me her name in case I wanted to practice Khmer.

I met up with her IRL for the first time during my two weeks but although pretty in pictures, in IRL there was just no chemistry. It was still a good experience and we are still friends.
