100 Chinese Cyber Crims Arrested in Toul Kork

Phnom Penh (FN), March 12 - Intelligence and Compliance Department (ICD) in cooperation with Phnom Penh Police and relevant authorities, at around 11 am on Monday, has arrested 100 Chinese nationals over cybercriminals and illegal gambling.

The operation took place at #97, Sangkat Boeung Salang, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, under the co-ordination of Deputy Prosecutor Seang Sok, and direct command of General Sok Phal, Head of the Interior Ministry’s Immigration Department.

Ouk Hai Seila, Director of the ICD, said that in this operation, police found 100 Chinese, of which 19 are female, illegally operating VOIP and Online Game.

According to the General, the 100 Chinese were sent to the General Department of Immigration for further legal procedures.

Yeah, that's how it always goes in the movies these days. I think the Khmer police are more in touch with real life.
