They’ve tried to do a job on Vibol Kong, head of tax department.

His responses:
I don’t remember.
It is false.
Where you get that information.
It is not correct.
I transferred already.
I don’t want to talk about this.
I don’t know.

Someone’s pants are on fire.

That is one of the funniest things I've seen for a long time. A shame it's so tragic. :bravo:

I like their documentaries.
They did a good one over a few weeks on Israel, Golan, Sirya, Egypt Suez war.

Very informative.
My grief councilor recently died.
Because she did such a good job I didn’t give a shit.

The Al Jazeera documentary on the killing of Kem Lay was excellent.

I watched it again just to see Vibol Kong’s reaction. Pure gold.

I've seen it 3 times now, once alone, the other 2 with different Cambodians. Their reaction is quite similar 'Look at his pity me face!'.

All those people giving the Daily a hard time for tax non-compliance, Alexander for one. Lol
I still find GavinMacs support of the Post lop lop, and the documentary goes a long way in explaining why.

Nah, she was firing those questions too fast, he's a very busy man and I believe he just forgot. 8-)

Let's see if the Australian authorities open up an investigation into ownership status, registration paperwork and related money transfers regarding these Australian businesses and properties no longer owned by Vibol Kong and his family based on his interview answers/denials. Would be a shame if he lost his assets there due to providing false information in business registration and financials reporting....or tax evasion.
I must be scobienz.

At a guess, the journo was like 'Want to say a few words about your department's alleged involvement in the shutting of CD and PPP's tax bill?'

KV: 'Yeah sure' (thinks to himself) 'Easy, I've been rehearsing these lines for months'

Journo ' Afew easy enough questions, then bang bang bang with some facts and evidence'

KV: 'Shit, this was supposed to be easy. Play it cool V-Dawg, blink a lot and deny everything'. 'Error, someone made errors'

Journo: ' Everyone involved in both countries made errors?'

KV: ' Shit, well, erm, yeah, and I can't remember'

Journo: 'Yeah, right'

KV: 'Pig's tits. I don't want to play anymore. Hang Meas TV never play unfair like you guys. Interview over'
