Why only female? And why have the age restriction. To be honest this make me a bit suspicious.
What sector? This will impact on the technical language requirement.
Also, do you at least have a salary range?

Because employing Khmer males is a fruitless exercise. Lazy feckless little sods that they are.

By and large, yes.Playboy wrote:Because employing Khmer males is a fruitless exercise. Lazy feckless little sods that they are.
Invariably I end up recruiting females, as they interview better, appear more teachable, self aware and often are cheaper. But I’d never (or certainly very rarely) restrict an advertisement to one gender.

But you would pay them less, despite them being more teachable and self aware, because they are female?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:By and large, yes.Playboy wrote:Because employing Khmer males is a fruitless exercise. Lazy feckless little sods that they are.

Yeah, and if they were disabled then I’d pay them even less. What are they gonna do?violet wrote:But you would pay them less, despite them being more teachable and self aware, because they are female?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:By and large, yes.Playboy wrote:Because employing Khmer males is a fruitless exercise. No, of course not. You are looking at it the wrong way.
I pay in around market rate, I refuse to pay males more than this just because they are male. Males often have a unrealistic salary expectations.
Salaries increase when those who are teachable, get taught and improve in their roles.
Is "Mary" a signature or a seventh 'capacity' with a spelling mistake ?bwanaem wrote:We are looking for the female staff, who has the below capacity-

No, it wouldn't be right when there's about 67 of them these days.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: But I’d never (or certainly very rarely) restrict an advertisement to one gender.
Why is this ad in the buy/sell section?

Recently I had the 'wage gap' conversation with my girl and she felt that there was no gender wage discrimination in Cambodia.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:Yeah, and if they were disabled then I’d pay them even less. Job Adverts with no salary information are kind of meaningless. Like advertising a nice meal without the price. Its all relative.

My 'girl' is my partner and my daughter and her are about the same age, late 20's. It would be weird to call my daughter my girl, I just call her my daughter.YaTingPom wrote:You have those conversations with your daughter? How old is she?
