Travel insurance for travelling Cambodians
Travel insurance for travelling Cambodians
I'm having a problem finding a company to insure Cambodians traveling to Europe. Google searches for "insurance for cambodians" return only hits for insurance for people traveling to Cambodia. Any tips?
Took one out with one of the big guys, Infinity or Forte, I forget which.
Got the full bells and whistles one, medevac the lot.
Only afterwards did I realise that the medevac is to .....Cambodia.
So there you are recuperating in your private room in Geneva, nice view of the lake, next thing you know you're on an economy flight back to Calmette.

Just looked it up. The company is World Nomads.
Yes World Nomads will insure people from anywhere but they significantly load the premiums for Cambodians. ie the same insurance costs several times more for a Khmer than a European.Lol Nol wrote:Took one out online the other day literally on the way to the airport it was so simple.orde wrote:I'm having a problem finding a company to insure Cambodians traveling to Europe. These quotes tell me it's cheaper for Cambodians.orde wrote:Yes World Nomads will insure people from anywhere but they significantly load the premiums for Cambodians. ie the same insurance costs several times more for a Khmer than a European.Lol Nol wrote:Took one out online the other day literally on the way to the airport it was so simple.orde wrote:I'm having a problem finding a company to insure Cambodians traveling to Europe.
