Cambodia Maps Say Thanks
Finally, after just over a year, the CambodiaMaps CD has raised enough to make a sizeable donation to Wat Kampong Tralach School. On Saturday 05/04/08, I delivered a brand new computer system to the Abbot of the wat. The computer was paid for by funds raised by the CD, so, if you have bought one, this is where your money went; many thanks to everyone who has helped by giving their time, materials, and advice for the CD.
CambodiaMaps now has a PO Box in Phnom Penh. If any readers would like to make any donations to the school, please send them to CambodiaMaps, PO box 576, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Please do not send cash to this PO Box, but books, educational CD roms, and any other educational materials will be gratefully accepted.
V2 will be out and available at the Jungle Bar in Phnom Penh shortly thanks to Macka agreeing to continue from jm with the CD sales. It will be in a new ebook format which will include a built in search function, and will open all images in the host computer's image browser for easier zoom in and out and image editing. Future updates will be annual.
