Missing Child – Meas Bophea

Meas Bophea is 15; she is adopted and lives with her adopted mother Bopha and 6 or 7 other adopted children.

Bopha’s house is near Anlong Tong Wat in Sokong Village, Kampong Speu.

The youngest child is sponsored informally as he has a rare blood condition and her mother travels to Phnom Penh regularly leaving the majority of the older children at the farm. Last week it seems 3 girls were left alone with an older man who often keeps an eye in the farm but there was mention of a younger man with tattoos, I don’t know who this is.

There is no generator so it is dark and the girls are scared of ghosts which is why I do not think she ran away.

Bophea went to bed with her younger sisters Mary Kay (7) and Michelle (4), they have western names but are Khmer.

In the morning Bophea was missing and hasn’t been seen since. She’s been missing since Tuesday October 16th.
