There really is very little reason to head up to the top floor at Soriya unless you are going there to take in the excellent panoramic view looking out towards the river and the palace.

Apart from the view, there’s a fairly tawdry roller blading rink, a scruffy little cafe and that’s about it unless you wander around the corner where there is a somewhat seedy looking (and I think abandoned) ‘pub’ or club.

Also, there are barriers up there to prevent people jumping from the building externally. However, there is nothing to stop people from jumping internally – as we found out today.

    HiPorky,
I am connected to the Israeli community in Phnom Penh, and my ex-boss himself is alos an israeli citizen. Can you provide more details regarding this guy ? no one know about this accident yet from Israeli side, even if the israeli embassy in Bangkok doesnt know about it.

Can you help? what is going on? did the police moved his body to somewhere else?

    Thanks.

This is certainly strange. Obviously one could not fall by accident. Maybe it was suicide or plain stupidity that enabled him to go to the necessary movements to jump or fall.
