1st Annual Charity Motorbike Rally!

charityride1

This December, we at Ride Expeditions will be running our first annual charity motorbike rally event, riding in aid of M’Lop Tapang. We will spend 6 days riding across Cambodia, starting the adventure in the bustling city of Siem Reap on Christmas day, cross the mighty Cardamom Mountains and finish up on the white sands of Sihanoukville just in time for New Years Eve celebrations.

Fun and adventure is the aim of the game. With that in mind, the bikes we will be using on the ride will be small 125cc or less (think Minsk, Dailim, Honda Dream etc.)… basically, entirely unsuitable machines that are bound to breakdown often and cause mayhem. If the locals can do it (with a family of 5, two bags of rice and a dog) then why can’t we?

The ride will cost $830 ($600 for pillion passenger) and this includes the bike guides, mechanics and medic, support vehicle and all accommodation from 25th – 31st Dec (based on twin / double occupancy). We are also offering a 15% discount for expats who are using their own bike. There is the option of riding on an easy/medium/difficult trail depending on what kind of adventure you’re after.

All skill levels are welcome, but be prepared for breakdowns and chaos as well as a ton of fun and an experience you will never forget – and all in the name of charity! You can’t say fairer than that.

This sounds awesome. Please keep your page updated with news, for example amount of bookings etc.

What is your cut off date for booking?

    • Hi Bob,

Thanks for your interest! Cut off date for bookings will be mid-October – unless it books out beforehand. At the moment we have 10+ spaces still available – when this number gets below 10 I will note this on the website.

      Cheers

Another Mlop Tapang NGO Fundraising Scam.

Why not improve on the Transportation Safety on their “Haul the kids” Trucks where they have to travel like Cattle, standing up so they can put more volume on a truck. This organisation sucks !!
