You have to be in the mood to watch a war movie, certainly with Angelina Jolie’s “In The Land of Blood and Honey”. That’s different with “Special Forces”, a drama that tells the – based on the true experiences of the French Special Forces – story of a French journalist that gets kidnapped by the Taliban. And then the Special Forces move in as the brave heroes that will make it all good. But this movie will surprise you with what you normally don’t get to see. Or hardly know about. Very intriguing. It is a movie about the human relationships during the war, about friendship and solidarity, about fighting for survival, about trust and hope.
