ARTWORKS FOR FREEDOM uses the power of art in the global fight against human trafficking. AWFF-founder Kay Chernush and Cambodian NGO reps will guide you through tonight’s program (Q&A).

DAUGHTERS FOR SALE (2008, 30min) takes the audience to Western Nepal, where families are forced to sell their young daughters, to work far from home as bonded servants.

SOLD: FIGHTING THE GLOBAL SLAVE TRADE (2010, 54min) looks at three people, a former Hindu nun in India, an Islamic lawyer in Pakistan and a Christian social worker in Togo, working on the frontline to rescue, rehabilitate and prevent children being deceived into slavery.

Art Café: DJ RUDE BOY “in the mix”.
