Drug dealers have moved into the Cambodian cyberspace.
Beeeshop claims to sell high grade cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, LSD and amphetamine. The website looks like something straight off the Dark web with Anonymous masks and sexy girls blowing smoke into each others mouths.
The website is available in English, Khmer and Chinese. It instructs customers to place their order using a Telegram bot. After placing the order, the customer sends a payment and receives GPS coordinates for the location of where to pick up the stash.
The website claims that the transaction is completely anonymous and that they only accept payments made using the crypto currency Bitcoin. Despite this claim, the website lists local payment gateways ABA Bank, TrueMoney, Wing and PayGo as payment options.
It is hosted in Cyprus by hosting company Hostinger, which
accepts payments in Bitcoin, so that the hosting company is not able to identify the owners of the Cambodian drug store.
The operation is completely illegal in Cambodia and is taking competent evasive action in its operations to avoid being traced by the authorities.
Will they be able to stay online despite being completely illegal and operating in the open? How will the authorities react?
