Not true, I took my kids to watch Deadpool, thinking it was a kids movie (my mistake). The staff at Legend, Exchange Square pointed out it was not suitable and we ended up watching something else instead.
The staff at Exchange Square are (from my experience) much better at dealing with this kind of thing.. much more so than anywhere else.
I do agree with Kermode that cinema staff here do not give a shit - even down to them simply ignoring people live streaming the movie on their phone.
As for you you thinking Deadpool might be suitable for kids... well, maybe you should stick to mixing cocktails.
