My uncle had a heart attack and stent put in at 78 or 79. He was a bit overweight at the time and his wife had died the year before. He decided he'd rather not be dead, and started exercise. A few months later, he sold their apartment and moved out of the city. He walks everywhere, about an hour a day, swims thrice a week, and enjoys drinking scotch with friends. He's now 93.
With ricecakes in wishing Jun a swift recovery. And maybe my uncle's story can inspire him as much as it inspires me.
