Oh my goodness you are tedious.
At least you haven't brought trumpie into it!
As with any advertising the consumer has a choice to purchase or not. You don't have to buy anything.
You are complaining that the results you might get (for free) are not exactly what you might want. I'd suggest some relevant results are more useful than none.
And you don't even use the bloody thing yet you are an expert about it.
Actually, for the business I do run in .eu, those "suggestions" are wrong. I am looking for the things, which aren't obvious/main-stream. Sometimes, the suggestions are that numerous, it is very difficult to find what I am looking for. I put in relevant words and the search engine returns something that looks like that, because somebody pays the search engine. And the extra words I give are largely ignored.
And the general tendency of your writing shows, you have no idea about the consequences of the profiling. Even worse, how it can and is being abused, simply because there are people prepared to pay for that abuse.
By simply constantly telling people "a story", people start to believe that story. We have seen that with Trumpie his continuous "stolen election" lies, how this turns into brainless mobs who are prepared to do everything to follow their leader. That was also the way, Hitler became popular some 90 years ago. It's called propaganda. Keep on repeating the lies at such a high volume, that contrary information gets lost in the haystack.
Most people have no idea what propaganda does do towards the masses who -think- they can decide themselves. Not.....
There are reasons Google/FB/Twatter/etc are so vague with their answers to the Congress: They try to hide the real motives behind the profile/tracking mechanisms. That's big, no, that's huge money at the scale they do these things.
