We are planning to setup a local office in Phnom Penh.
So watch out for a couple of fat fuck visa runners, resplendent in their tinfoil hats, speedos, dayglo string vests and cheap bling. And remember, of course, to get their photos so we can pass the details on to the CIA, KGB, International Justice Mission and the Pope.

Our Phuket friend isn't fat, but he does appear to have applied to be their man in PP. This could be brutal.
They don't like me at Thai visa as i am one of the few that still think phuket is nice, so don't expect to see me there much
most posters at TV hate where they live
and i have no plans to live in PP this time around so ur and urs are safe
Er, we're not worried. My comment "This could be brutal" wasn't directed at you personally; I mean
thaivisa's presence on K440 soil could be brutal. On and off internet fora, I foresee tension between the established Cambodian expat community and hoardes of expats flocking over from Thailand.
I find this unsettling as the experts all chuckled and made snarky comments about the possibility of a "flood" of Thai expat refugees some time back when a few ppl mentioned it. Myself included as I recall.
I did not find willie's post all that odd. I think he's right. Many of the newer posters here are young and I suspect here for the possible business oppurtunity. Someone bringing a beemer? ewwww. This is why I avoid PP. It reminds me of the things I don't like in Bangkok. And it don't got the great street foods.
The only hope is that they mostly all gravitate to PP and Snooky, which will no doubt become some sad little imitation of Pattaya. Perhaps GM will be right and the gov will up the price of a stay here.
The number of new posters and what they post also tells me something. I think I understand Hanky's absence now.
I left TV a few years ago. If I want to hear that kind of tripe I'll just walk outside my door here in the states. That they now set sights on Cambodia is indeed a nasty thing and I'm afraid little good can come of it. Tho GM might have the more prosperous sort he seems to prefer. I for one will lurk in the provinces.
