I don't see what the need is for all this PM'ing regarding insurance, I believe the guy or a representative has posted here before. Lets share the info so all can benefit.

Travel insurance is for travelers that don't intend to reside in another country. If you have a serious accident or illness while covered with travel insurance, you will be treated and sent back to your country to recoup. For an example: A friend of mine had a minor heart attack and was admitted into hospital. The surgeon put a stent in his artery and discharged him after 10 days. He then returned to Australia and he needed a triple by pass operation. He now wants to travel back to Asia, but no insurance company will ever cover him for his heart as it is now a pre-existing condition!.
Medical insurance is for expatriates living in another country. If you ever have a claim, you simply renew the policy each year and you will always be covered for that condition or any future illness/accident!
I have been in the medical insurance industry for 33 years and I recommend A+ Medical Cover as they are well priced for South East Asia!. If you would like any additional information, please feel free to email me at >

Good Luck! Mark.

I work with all the local and international insurers for over 32 years, so if you would like a quotation and explanation on pre-existing conditions, please contact me!

I took out a policy for my wife and myself with this guy. Seems like excellent value and a smooth application process. Haven't been in any moto carnage to test the policy yet, but perfectly happy so far.
