I was in Bayon Market on Russian Blvd around noon yesterday and there was a fat drunk foreigner lurking in every row.
Seems unlikely as the foreign customers tend to be mainly professionals working in the city and while some may be fat they would certainly not be drunk. The majority of customers at Bayon are Asian and foreign customers are very much in the minority.
Yeah, the rotund white specimens are usually found at Lucky Sihanouk, next to that NGO wasteland BKK
well. they were on some sort of field trip on that day then? the breath of the gentleman who asked me how my Christmas shopping was going could have tranquilized a small mammal. there also was a fat couple from Vietnam that claimed to be on a visa run and they repeatedly expressed their excitement about the variety of products available, in what they assumed must be an even more savage country than the one they are currently settling in. Last time I checked HCMC was a mega city in a mid income country that had plenty of groceries to offer. Have these people now started to build their huts deep into the Mekong delta?
