The weather forecasters did. About ten days in advance. And it was just a few showers ffs.
And it stands to reason that after the drought of last year caused by El Niño we will have earlier and more frequent rains this year.
Climate is always changing, and always will.
There have been, within the past 2000 years, years with almost no sunlight (535-536), (1816).
The little ice age of 1300 through 1870 caused by a period of low sun/weird solar activity.
Irish monks recorded unusual and severe weather patterns as a result of worldwide volcanic activity on over thirty occasions from 431 to 1649ad while the rest of Europe were fucked in the dark ages.
Point is, climate is always changing, and our records are but a drop in the ocean of time. The planet/solar system/universe has cycles far greater than mankind can ever comprehend, let alone have observed in our time as what we call the human race.
In conclusion:
"You know what I'm gonna do?
I'm gonna get myself a 1967 Cadillac, El Dorado convertible
Hot pink with whaleskin hub caps and all leather cow interior
And big brown baby seal eyes for headlights, yeah
And I'm gonna drive around in that baby at 115 mph
Getting one mile per gallon, sucking down quarter pounder
Cheese burgers from McDonald's in the old fashioned
Non-biodegradable Styrofoam containers
And when I'm done sucking down those grease ball burgers
I'm gonna wipe my mouth with the American flag
And then I'm gonna toss the Styrofoam container right out the side
And there ain't a goddamned thing anybody can do about it"
