Sixteen pages and counting

The Seven Deadly Sins of Trolling

Number 3: Antipathising, by taking up an alienating position, asking pseudo-naïve questions, etc.

This tactic is heavily reliant on deceiving the group it is aimed at and covertly manipulates egos, sensitivities, morals and feelings of guilt, usually to trigger emotional responses. It can also create moral dilemmas.

"The trolls employed what the M.I.T. professor Judith Donath calls a “pseudo-naïve” tactic, asking stupid questions and seeing who would rise to the bait. The game was to find out who would see through this stereotypical newbie behavior, and who would fall for it. As one guide to trolldom puts it, “If you don’t fall for the joke, you get to be in on it.”"

Here's the teeshirt

Brilliant post. Can you provide a link to the other forms of tolling?
I looked up Donath online but could not find a concise list.
You hit it spot on.

Is anyone this stupid?
Don't pay .
Don't tell your wife...
Make up a reason to delete your facebook and start over...
I noticed that google has this thing about sending me pics of what I was doing a year ago..2. years ago..3 years ago...
I was not with my wife 3 years ago and I realized that google..facebook all of them are evil as fuck ...keeping your pics forever..
Sending them to you like you want to recall those days you in a bar with 10 ladies or a lady boy or whatever.....
I was wondering how many poor schlubs have been trapped in such schemes and google kill shots..
If i was you
..i would never pay...and delete you and your wife's facebook..
If you get caught ...you may be fucked...
Telling her is not an option..
My buddy has several aliases he used to bang chicks in vegas on business
He can even vote in cali with one
Not kidding..mail in voting is bad enough ..my buddy made up a guy to bang chicks and can vote..
Never come clean...
Next time......be smarter

I think the lime green BIC lighter is a euphemism.

And all this time Playboy's been saying he was going out for 'morning coffee'.
I'm more concerned that PB is having his way with an odd shaped implement.
Always knew he was a square peg trying to fit in to a round hole

Dude, as mentioned before. Post a pic of your Grand Sorya Mall fuck buddy here. Chances are Playboy already had her on his FB friend list. Offer him a box of Super Whisky Mekong31, a packet of ARA and a pink Bic lighter he will get it sorted out for you.

TukTukTimes wrote:Did you send a private message to the users Jamie Lambo or Playboy with a link to her account to take them up on their offer to see if they knew her?

As a precautionary action, I would take the photos she sent you, and hire a professional to photoshop her out of them, and then post an album with a ton of photos in it, including them. If the photos ever surface, then you have plausible deniability ("that scammer just took my photos and photoshopped some random girl into them").

How much did the private investigative firm charge? Seems less risky to pay them to try and fix it for good, then to pay her now, and have her message you again in another 6 months.

For $1000, I am sure you could find someone to deal with this for you:

Step 1: Tell her that your friend will meet her in person to give her the money.
Step 2: Hire someone here.
Step 3: The person you hired for $1000 gets to keep $500, and the other $500 goes to a police officer. The police officer accompanies the 'friend,' and arrests the girl for something, anything (meth, soliciting prostitution, something). He lets her go right away, but your friend assures her if the photos appear anywhere they'll be back for her.
Excellent. I like the way you think.

What is the rate per day to hire a police officer?

$500 sounds quite expensive when all that's
needed is a bloke in uniform for two hours at the most.

In Sri Lankan beach resorts a boy's "outraged father" and a bloke in police uniform are essential
actors in one-act plays performed for the purpose of shaking down white men silly enough to
be attracted by a winsome brown simpering in the shade of the coconut palms.
