Number 3: Antipathising, by taking up an alienating position, asking pseudo-naïve questions, etc.

This tactic is heavily reliant on deceiving the group it is aimed at and covertly manipulates egos, sensitivities, morals and feelings of guilt, usually to trigger emotional responses. It can also create moral dilemmas.

As a precautionary action, I would take the photos she sent you, and hire a professional to photoshop her out of them, and then post an album with a ton of photos in it, including them. If the photos ever surface, then you have plausible deniability ("that scammer just took my photos and photoshopped some random girl into them").

How much did the private investigative firm charge? Seems less risky to pay them to try and fix it for good, then to pay her now, and have her message you again in another 6 months.

For $1000, I am sure you could find someone to deal with this for you:

Step 1: Tell her that your friend will meet her in person to give her the money.
Step 2: Hire someone here.
Step 3: The person you hired for $1000 gets to keep $500, and the other $500 goes to a police officer. The police officer accompanies the 'friend,' and arrests the girl for something, anything (meth, soliciting prostitution, something). He lets her go right away, but your friend assures her if the photos appear anywhere they'll be back for her.
