Many of the Street 130 bars are more geared towards expats rather than tourists, especially on the North side of the street. Music levels are lower, girls won’t hassle you for drinks, and a more chilled atmosphere generally. Plus clean toilets.
Yes I have a vested interest in some of these bars but hopefully others will confirm that what I’m saying is basically true, especially if you avoid the peak time of 10.30pm-12.30am
The other bars mentioned also fit the bill, as does Mings bar in street 174, and the Filling Station way down in street 282.
