Her birthday was 1969, not 1968.
And to those asking, she died of a stroke. Specifically a intracerebral hemorrhage that triggered a stroke, most likely caused by the discontinuation and sudden restart of her medication.
Her life post Cambodia consisted of overcoming trauma, PTSD and Depression. To those who say she was an alcoholic, it was simply a coping mechanism for all of the weight she bore as a highly empathetic person who took on the pain of every fascinating person she met throughout her career.
Thank you for informing everyone of her passing, and I hope everyone is aware that she was much more than what was seen on the surface. She fought hard, and her death was a shock to everyone. She loved Cambodia very much, and that's truly where her heart always was, even when she was here in Australia.
