I flew into Phnom Penh airport yesterday at about 6:30 p.m.
I passed through immigration cubicle #7.
I have a routine when I pass through immigration, that I always put on my glasses and have a pen and paper ready and while the immigration officer scans my passport, I try to jot down the names and information about the wanted criminals they have posted all over their cubicles.
Lately this has been kid of a pointless exercise because 95% of them are Asian/Chinese and the immigration guys aren't posting the names of wanted Westerners like they used to.
Anyway, last night I saw a posting in the cubicle with the name, photo, and date of birth of a white looking guy.
Unfortunately, the paper was partially obscured by another paper on top of it, so all I could make out was "MOLLERH" (rest of name cut off) and a photo of the guy and then saw that it said DOB but couldn't read any of that.
I just read on Cambodia News English that four hours after I saw "MOLLERH" posted in the cubicle, a German "Heiko Müller" died in Phnom Penh. Heart attack, naturally.
https://cne.wtf/2019/06/18/german-heiko ... ies-in-pp/
This death could be unrelated to the cubicle thing, may be a different guy entirely, though the photo posted of his passport on Cambodia News English does resemble that of the photo of the mysterious Mr. "MOLLERH" in the cubicle.
