60s, 70s, 80s music is everywhere...
Has to be to attract the 50-70 year olds...
Not sure how may of this age group are into dancing.
Creating a space like an apartment....sofas, coffee tables...Not sure what this means...
Too many bars to choose from now.... If making a profit isn't a priority... go for it... A nice little hobby I guess to meet old and new friends
You are thinking of the same old "classic rock" garbage they have been playing in SE-Asia since whenever. I use to quite enjoy the likes of CCR etc untill I came to Asia.
But where do you hear the Crusaders, Curtis Mayfield or anything made by Nile Rodgers?
How often do you hear the Smits, Police, Cure, Specials, Duran Duran or New Order?
Most places cater, music wise, to either a young or boomer crowd it seems.
Well, you nailed it! This is exactly the kind of music i wanna play...
Miss that here...
Al green, Marvin gaye, Prince,.Gil-Scott-heron, Brian Eno, Bowie,Joy Division, Nina Simone, The meters,Bauhaus, Sly etc etc..
Got 45 000 Song...
And i' m sorry i see how people react in club when they play classic songs, even the young got it, People are fed up of the same electro and commercial shit they play everywhere!
Certain bars (Yellow for example) let you use the keyboard to choose your songs.
With the right crowd a good time can be had by playing quality requests and keeping the crap most of the staff want to hear off.
