Whilst V12 is a bit harsh, your options aren't overly practical. Solar exists here but is quite expensive so not realistic for a poor family. Cambodia is also relatively flat so the hill cart option also isn't really an option. Is there a reason you chose Cambodia? Is it based on a needs assessment you have researched? climate? coincidentally a report just published show 75% connected now

Yeah, a bit harsh, though these "we know it all" students need a "back to reality" message, which do not tend to arrive, when being told in a friendly, non-harsh way. A harsh message creates a shock, etc.......
The whole point of this survey is to learn about the issue, because I recognize that I don't "know it all". Telling me that my ideas are bad isn't going to help anyone at all. If you want me to "get back to reality" you should tell me specifically what I'm doing wrong.
A real and proper student does FIRST study until s/he gains the amount of knowledge on par with what is known in the world about the subject, before bothering other people with stupid ideas. That's how science works. Science is not Facebook/Instagram quality level of communication, which you show. You should be been explained that in your first months at the university (or maybe you got those lessons though you decided to ignore, since it did not match your Facebook/Instagram imaginary world you are living in). Sorry.
Yeah, and if I was deciding how it was done, that would be how I would do it, but I'm not. The project is not for a science class, it's trying to teach us "Design Thinking", a process where the needs of a product are attempted to be understood before getting in to what is actually feasible or realistic. That's what the survey is for; I'm putting out some ideas to see if there are any cultural oversights I'm making. I don't like the process, but I'm not the professor, and if I were to try to do it in a different way than what was prescribed, I would fail the class. I don't know what you think you will gain by continuing this, but I thought I would enlighten you on the fact that (surprise!) I'm following someone else's directions, and I think it's stupid too.
