What does ‘taking advantage of’ mean? And why does it automatically mean something the negative.
The place I work completely shifted its business model during the pandemic to do two key things: first we actively encouraged (without forcing) people to relocate from London to other cities. We found people were tired of the big city and wanted a change of lifestyle. This enabled us to increase profitability without impacting what we offered clients, and hugely benefited the staff who moved. It also allowed us to significantly reduce London office costs.
Then we allow anyone to work from where ever they want. Again, no issues with performance. In fact we find productivity has increased.
The result is three years of massively enhanced growth and profitability.
Win win.
