The most common wall in Cambodia: red red brick with, normally with 4 air holes running end to end, are mortared together then covered with a centimetre of cement plaster. Double layer bricks, or single layer, I have occasionally had problems with different styles of wall plugs falling out because holes end up on edge of a brick void or cement/brick is crumbly. What is your favourite?
(I want to hang my kids a large, somewhat heavy whiteboard. They will use it for homework, drawing, and sometimes rough running and games. I want it solidly fixed to the wall. Thanks!)
