In mid December, ‘17, I’ll be looking for a serviced room in Sihanoukville for a year. I posted about this before, but the post has disappeared!
I was told the landlord wants you to move in Immediately. Is it true? I’m insomniac, I need to be sure the area is quiet. So I like to give the place a ‘trial run’ before committing.
I had a fairly large room before, full size fridge, AC, fan,en suite bathroom, flat screen TV near Sumadera market for $200 monthly. Is that a fair price, if not, how do I find a fair price?
Electric utility- What to do? Demand to see the electric bill? I was paying $20~$25 monthly, but the first month I stayed I used the AC a lot, electric was $180!
———————————————
Deposit- How to handle that? I paid $400 (2 months) in 3 installments, and when I moved out, there was a lot of song & dance, b.s. etc., and I wound up getting only $30 back. I had the receipts.
Thanks for reading! If you reply, please tell me what you know, not what you *guess*!
How do I manage the deposit so that I’m being treated fairly?
