-The body of an Englishman was found dead in a hotel in Sihanoukville Town.
-The victim was identified by investigators as a 52 year old Englishman named ‘BALTRIMAS ALEXANDER JOHN.’ He was described as a tourist who had registered at the hotel on November 3, 2012.
-The body was discovered in Room 13 of the 4th floor of the newly opened King Gold Apartment, which is located in front of the Gung Ho Chinese language School on Street សេតេ (CT, Siti or City), in Group 13, Village 2, Commune 2, Sihanouk Town.
-The discovery was made at 6:00 am on the 30th March, 2013, when cleaning staff at the hotel unlocked the victim’s door after they had become suspicious about not seeing the guest come down from his room the past 4 days.
-The stench of decomposition made it difficult for investigators to approach the body, and the advanced decomposition has made the medical examination difficult.
-Until the early afternoon of the 30th of March, 2013, the body has still not been removed and a cause of death not yet found.
