Funny, I've never heard expats (in Cambodia) whine about the cooler weather. Having to heat up water for a shower is a chore, but most folks welcome the chilly spell.
Take a look on FB. As soon as temperatures drop below 25C, the howling about the cold temperatures start.
Ricecakes, it did snow on Tam Dao a few years back and Sa Pa had about 30 centimeters of snow.
