I've just checked out those scores you reported and there is
no record of the 20-0 defeat by
China! It didn't happen.
There is, however, a 20-0 defeat by
Kuwait in 2000.

All of which goes to show that even FIFA spokespersons get it wrong and it is vital to check newspaper reports for oneself - the Irish Times has reported a falsehood without doing its homework!
