Bajaj make most of the KTM products now and I’m sure some models for the Japs (under licence and KDK) just like Thailand does.
China makes a mind boggling amount of cars for the domestic market dwarfing many European brands in terms of numbers and bizarrely they’ve been making cars for those big brands (VW, Toyota, Ford, Honda etc) for at least 15 years or so.
There’s still an anti Chinese vehicle mentality they are stuck with from back in the 70s and 80s.
You can buy a brand new fully loaded Haval H6 (Great Wall - Range Rover Evoque size) for $48k or a 10 year old Lexus 450h!
New Evoque is what, $150k?
Range Rovers always come out last in reliability studies. But people like the status, just like Lexus.
Evoque on right, obvs.
Of course my mrs wants the 10 year old Lexus not “Chinese crap”’! (As if I’ve got that money spare)
Back on topic.
I’ve heard good reports about those Boxers. Very reliable and I believe the biggest selling bike in India now.
