There are reasons why one might want a Filipino rather than a local. Their English is usually pretty good. They understand Asian culture while having a distinct Western slant. They always seem to be religious Christians for some odd reason.
There have been Filipinos living here for hundreds of years, long before any long-nose hit these shores. King Ang Duong had a Filipino band working for him in the mid 19th century and there have been Filipino guards/ mercenaries working here for much longer. General Sosthène Fernandez was the Commander-in-Chief of the Khmer National Armed Forces in the 1970s. Everyone knows of Filipino sailors and nurses and all sorts of professions working all over the world.
Anyway, I digress...
A Filipino nurse would be the ideal person to employ, but obviously won't come too cheap. It seems the OP is an affluent local going by the name and number so if anyone knows of someone who can do the job pass it on.
