You should see the four of them out on a double date [cold shudder]

Both of them give each other the cold stare when it comes time to pay the bill.
Gav says: Your girlfriend had 3 more bites of the main course than mine, you need to pay 1.28c more to make things equal.
Gonk replies: But her mouth is smaller so she does not eat as much with each mouthful.

In the end the girls go dutch and split the bill between them,
Which is what Gav and Gonk were hoping for from the start.

A bus/taxi from old town to the Cotai strip where the new casinos are takes 20 minutes. You can walk around the whole old town, like from the ruins of St. Paul's church to the museum to the other churches and to Wynn Macau, in a couple of hours. From there you can get the free hotel shuttle to Wynn Palace, located on the Cotai Strip. Then you can walk around and see the major hotels on the Cotai Strip for a half day.

2 nights and 1-1.5 days there is enough. It's best combined with a trip to Hong Kong, which is an hour away by fast ferry. But Cambodians need a visa in advance to visit Hong Kong. Actually, one of the reasons why I took her to Macau is in the hope that it will improve her chances to get a future visa to visit Hong Kong.
I don't think anyone really gets rejected for the Hong Kong visa, just one form and 5 days wait. Also very easy to get the double entry one if you want to break up your trip by going to Macau (the boat is nice and runs nearly 24 hrs.

Strange that they queried the amount of cash for the Cambodian. I had no problem taking one, but maybe that was because we arrived by boat and had already got the HK visa.

As GM says, plenty of free shuttle busses to take you all around the island, the local busses also very clean & frequent. The town has a lot of beautiful old Portuguese buildings, the cotai side is exactly what you would expect some of the biggest casinos to look like. I am not a gambler so didn't stay too long. The missus loved the Venetian canals though. Boat across in the morning and then back to HK at around 1am.

Many of the hotels have free attractions to see, which Asians love because they are good for selfie taking. The best of these are:

1. Fountain and Eiffel Tower replica at Parisian
2. Canals at Venetian
3. Floral arrangements at Wynn Palace
4. Diamond lobby show every hour at Galaxy Hotel
5. Dragon show in lobby every 30-60 minutes at Wynn Macau
Have you ever taken her to ''The New Macau'' in Cambodia ? No doubt very similar to Macau except that maybe the Old Macau is more westernized/less Chinesey.
The New Macau has a dolphin fountain right near the beach, and canals and shit.
Loads of flowers in SHV market.
Dunno about diamonds though, and not many dragons.

I think some would like it but some would find the replica St. Mark's Square and replica Eiffel Tower and some of the other attractions to be tacky.

If you decide you don't want to go you can just watch these videos.

Wynn Macau lobby show:

Galaxy lobby show:

Wynn Palace Skycab ride:

I spared you, I bitched about that already.

I emailed them and complained about it and they offered me a $20 coupon. I guess that's better than nothing.
