Hi there. Looking for some info on the current job market in Phnom Penh concerning TEFL. I know there are threads already on this and I have also checked around the net and youtube and there is so much conflicting information. I know the job market is probably not anything like it was say 10 years ago but just wondering what it is like in 2017. I am Irish and in my early 40's. I am only really starting out in this and will be coming to Phnom Penh armed with a TEFL cert and very little teaching experience. Is it easy to pick up a job in one of the 10 dollar an hour business schools even part time? I'll be coming to Phnom Penh with about 10 grand in the bank so if it takes a while to find a job that won't be an issue for me. I'm hoping to make a long term thing out of this and take it seriously. I'm not a sexpat or coming over short term to do drink/drugs or any of that thing (except maybe on Saturdays!). Anyway any advice or pisstaking welcome.
