That’s true, however, millions of British drive on the continent without issues.
On a multi-lane highway it's no problem, it's one lane roads (or two lane roads like in Cambodia where you pull into the oncoming traffic lane to pass).
When we cross into Thailand at Koh Kong, the road is fine. It's multi-lane and not an issue. Then it ends up narrowing down, and it's extremely beneficial to have a copilot to let you know when to pass. Then, it eventually opens up to a proper highway, and it's not an issue again.

Yes, but most continentals have very different driving styles than they have here.
And no threat of motos or tuktuks or cows coming out of nowhere.
