Thanks, obviously I don't know what I'm doing and reading after the fact, dish detergent is the last thing to use on car paint. It's a Civic and I'm taking it to professional to see what the can do.
I never used anything else but dish detergent, never had any issue. Just a squirt in the hot water bucket.
Then again, I do the whole car...
