It's not difficult to find decent runners in SEA now. I have seen top end runners like Brooks, Saucony, Asics and even Salomon in KL. Hoka One One in Singapore. They have Brooks and North Face in Philippines too.

The problem buying online is getting the wrong fit and size. If you are buying the same brand and model, it's fine but if you are like me who like exploring different shoe brand and model it's a pain. I always end up getting the wrong size and going through the hassle of return and exchange.
I am a size 4 UK, for runners like Asics, Saucony and Brooks - 4.5 UK, Nike 4 UK and in some UK 5. It is confusing.
I recently bought Hoka trail shoe online and ordered the same size as my Hoka runners, it is way to big for my footies. I had to go to the shop today and try a couple to get the right size.

Ended up buying a pair in City Mart Sovanha, looks like they just had a delivery as there's shoe boxes everywhere. They sizes all the way up to a UK 13. They even had half sizes.

Thanks for the tip Rana, I'll check that place it next time.

Sometimes has UK 11. I bought a pair of UK 11 Sketchers there last month for $30 (same model as I had bought the year before from the Sketchers store for about $100)
They also have New Balance sport shoes and some generic Chinese brands.
Leather shoes they have Clarks, Geox, Cats, Hush Puppies and a few more name brands. All shoes $25-40
They also stock Reef sandals ($25).

They've got kid's Pumas and M&S school shoes, and women's shoes also.

All are 'ex-stock' (or possibly seconds, so check the stitching and quality) from Cambodian factories.

Worth a look: can be hit and miss as they don't have a huge stock of different styles or sizes.
Combine it with a trip to Sovanna, same corner of town.

Did the OP try the clothes shop on the 2nd floor of Aeon? The trainers in there were Sketchers and some Singapore made ones iirc. They looked decent enough.

Arnold didn't even wear shoes half the time when he was squatting, lovely, lovely man.

Seriously, just order them online or ask a friend to bring some back for you.

Same, 46 here and could only get football boots that size from CityMart at Sovanna Mall. For trainers I've been quite lucky, I found the Puma shop in Aeon had a 44 which actually fits very well, sometimes worth seeing if a 44/45 will fit - definitely Adidas shoes for me in a 44 are impossible, as are their 45s. Casual shoes I can sometimes get away with a 45, proper leather work shoes though are a definite order from England & deliver job.

It really depends what you need them for. If you want decent running shoes, you will not find them in SE Asia. I have tried for 20 years....

I once got a size 45 pair of CAT (the heavy machinery company) brand sneakers from the shoe shop on the eastern side of the petrol station at the corner of 155/488 in TTP.

Besides that, knock off chuck taylors at Sovanna are the only >44 shoe I've managed to find here.
