Haha, yes, it's called "cupping" and does not have to do with two-handed pleasuring.
Michael Phelps does it, and so do many other high-level athletes. Perhaps picked up from their time in China 2008?
Supposed to help breathing (supposed to pull phlegm from behind the chest) and aid recovery. I can see how Phelps would want that.
Any REPUTABLE cupping technicians? I know it's completely unproven, etc., and that many charlatans and wannabes abound, much like acupuncture. (I have never trusted an acupuncturist in Cambodia, but Vietnam has some good ones). The recent physios and chiros seem good though.
Anyone know a good place to get this cupping done? Phone number ok too, you can send by PM.
Also included is the related moxibustion, which is the burning of herbs at certain parts of the body. (Burns can happen though).
Cupping is inexpensive and can't hurt, just give you some pepperoni-looking bruises for a while.
By the way, do you know how long those bruises last?
