How can a driver (or a car) be uninsured in Australia, isn't that a requirement for car registration?
You do have the license plate number, I suppose? Probably more helpful than the guy's mobile number.
In Australia It is compulsory to have insurance for personnel injury. If an accident occurs and no physical injury occurs, it becomes a civil action and the police do not get involved.
So all I have is a registration number and a mobile ph number, his name and address could be fake or could be real, but I have driven past the address several times and have not seen the vehicle parked near the address. So I'm guessing the address is fake.
I cannot access any data attached to the registration number of the vehicle and neither can the police unless there is clear evidence of a crime being committed - Civil damages are not classed as a crime and the cops will not involve themselves in this situation. .
So I guess I'm fuckxx !
Which is why I asked can I trace a mobile number back to it's address.
