Re: Power prices in Cambodia
Being that the temperature rarely drops below 24 degrees country-wide, heating costs during winter aren't much of a concern.

Well, if vaccine cards are mandatory, and the business can be fined for non-compliance; whether or not as a business owner I agreed with the mandate or not - I would kick them out too Otherwise next day you have a dozen cunts with scraps of paper saying "no, it's really valid, and it's totally mine...

Re: Am about to get evicted
Unprocessed cashew nut is worth a pittance. Roughly 5500KHR this season, so $2/kg sounds like a great deal right now. Processed, they're at least $15/kg The best price lately for roasted, lightly salted/sweetened cashews -- perfectly fresh and delicious -- which I got yesterday at the Samudera is $...

Re: Am about to get evicted
There are plenty of native cashew nut trees where I am residing, in the Angkor temples vicinity of Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Angkorian kids are such good pickers and tree climbers where they can pick a full 50kg rice bag between 3–4 kids. The local middlemen would come around would buy 1...

He is responsible for the February 20 community transmission. Sokha hotel, and indeed all quarantine locations, are (or at least were) relying on probably underpaid, almost certainly underprepared, and very clearly under supervised security guards to protect the entire nation. The entire management...

Re: Streetview's inordinate interest in Cambodia
(E.G. It was a few years before they blurred faces and vehicle licence plates here.) I don't remember ever seeing a street view in Cambodia without blurred faces. I'm pretty sure the faces were always blurred out. Google started blurring faces in 2008, well before streetview was available here, afa...

Re: Streetview's inordinate interest in Cambodia
Then, a couple months later, thinking about my (High Horse) moto thread and my first Death Highway ride (before I bought that too slow and heavy purple Baja off my ride mate that I later happily got rid of to KIR.), I was looking for other closer to the border trails linking Ratanakiri and Mondulki...

Wat Botum park. Saw it last night, looks like some food stalls. It's still a holiday, so I'm guessing some Phnom Pehners will be out and about but far fewer hayseeds.
