I'm after advice from other girls on what security measures they take when travelling alone in Cambodian towns. Aside from the obvious things like don't wear your handbag over your shoulder. Does anyone take any personal protection with them?

After a recent visit to Cambodia Ive decided to head back over for 12 months and help out. I'll be starting in Sihanoukville for about 6 months. Can anyone suggest genuine and worthwhile non-religious NGO's which are based there? Anyone know anything about the Rainbow Foundation in Sihanoukville?
