Old member here. Lost my login didn't I. Thanks for restoring me Scoffer. Hi all, hope you are all well (although that can't possibly be the case), and Happy New Year.
In NZ these past 9 years, but we still go to the pagoda for Pchum Bin.

Re: MoodyMacs update thread.
Congrats MoodyMac, glad to hear things are working out. I've moved back home (Canada, eh?) myself although I'll be shuttling back and forth for work every couple of months from there. Quite enjoying it so far, actually, but there's some winter weather approaching rapidly... The winter here gave me ...

Re: MoodyMacs update thread.
Just a quick hi to you all. Hope things are going well. My wife and daughter joined me here just over two weeks ago. Had a few ups and downs along the way in regards to paperwork and documents. My little brother in laws application was denied. That was rough, but we always knew it was going to be a ...

Translation Service for Official Documents
Hello Friends. I'm just trying to find a company or business that translates official documents from Khmer into English. The immigration officer in NZ told me that it can either be a translation company, or an embassy, but as NZ does not have an embassy in Phnom Penh, I'm looking for the first optio...

Re: Acleda's Online Banking
Acleda, the bank that forced me to change my signature forever. Each time I signed the form to open my bank account, the clerk pointed out a slight variance in the pre scrawl I do for my initials. After three goes, they made me use a thumbprint, and I dropped the initials from my signature to avoid ...

Re: Cambodia v Afghanistan
I watched Cambodia play a Korean University side about 5 years ago. After that I really can't imagine them beating any international team. Still, it would be nice to (be able to) pop along to the stadium and watch the match.

Re: Interview with a spirit
"While the story of Tum Teav is an assault on traditional Khmer values – Tum leaves the monkhood and salvation to pursue his love for Teav, they sleep together without being married, and Teav deceives her mother – it is a Cambodian classic, and has been a part of the national school curriculum since...

Re: Interview with a spirit
Very interesting subject.
I was wondering if during some of the ceremonies I've been involved in (engagement and wedding) if some of those old folk who showed up weren't channeling spirits. I definitely had a hunch they were, but I never bothered to ask anyone about it.

Hey Dr Seuss. No groans here either..... Even though we've never communicated on here before, I want to take this opportunity to tell you that I'm sorry for telling you to fuck off that day. Even though you were being obnoxious, I was out of line, and I regret that in the long run I left without hav...
