Re: Thai Cambodian Caravans Fair
They call those guys 'caravan' when in Thailand too. Perhaps gypsy convoy might be a better term. I remember them turning up overnight in a field near where Big C is now. Loads of tables and stalls and light entertainment. Maybe a movie projector on a truck and so on. I've heard modern day road trip...

Re: Thai Cambodian Caravans Fair
I can only suggest you guys look up caravan in the dictionary.
I know everyone thinks it means a van towed by a car but seriously folks, some of you are teachers for goodness sake.

Re: Uses for an old phone.
You want to download a 230GB torrent?
With a phone?
In Cambodia?
You deserve some kind of medal.
( Considering a movie is around 1GB, what the heck are you downloading? )

Well of course, I'm assuming most members know the word "muff" and where it's located.toady wrote:Are you sure you're using the map the right way up?Could there be a quicker way to give yourself a load of worms than muff diving?
Right where intestinal worms lay their eggs, you're going to lick?

Re: Searching for the World's First Zero
If I remember right, back in the early days of learning to program for data control the zero was often a problem.
Early dBase languages used to trip up over empty(), nul and zero (zero isn't nul, it's a number namely zero).

Re: Easy flights to Angeles or even Manila?
Oh, I must have forgotten to mention, I need to stopover in PNH for 2-3 nights. That increases the price. If I didn't need to go through PNH I would, of course, go direct from BKK to MNL or CRK. Kind of you to make a practical suggestion. I find the tone of this forum much more civilized than that ...

Down town Snookies (Roy) or Charley Harpers (Tony)
Near Golden Lions The Terrace (Brad)
Not far from Lions Beach Club (Luna)
I've stayed in all of them and they're all OK.
