She is heavy pregnant so would suggest a tuk-tuk to view ($1.00), landlady very clean , room for moto . Sounds like it might ...

Re: Should Western embassy personnel hang out in hostess bar
Voted 'No', but only because of the US policy on reducing trafficking. I'm not equipped to make any moral argument, but if those are the terms of their employment then they should probably stick to them, since it's taxpayers money n everything.

Looking for a cheap place, what should I do?
Aside from checking forums n suchlike, I've found very little information on exactly how one finds an apartment in PP. I'm arriving there in a few days time, and would like to find a place asap to avoid spending all my money on guesthouses. So, what's the best way to go about finding a place? Lookin...

Re: Methylphenidate?
Hey connecticuter, your 'phenidate search seems a little fruitless. Perhaps you may be able to order online and get some alternatives in the post? I don't know whether US and UK companies generally avoid shipping to cambodia so this might be irrelevant, but have you looked into nootropics? While not...

Figured I'd join in! Apologies for substandard camera. Also, not Cambodia, but I have stories! Bird Poop Jesus in Vallo Della Lucania - Italy. Probably misspelled that. http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k634/oliv4er/DSCF0932.jpg Never really understood what was going on, or why, but they did this ...

Re: Moving Phnom Pen, is this a terrible idea?
'Depressing French novels'? I like this guy! 'Pere Goriot' by Balzac is one of my favourites! You're too clever for most of Cambodia (boy, am I gonna get some stick for this)! OP, the wave of abuse will come, but I'm betting you will ride it out. Cheers! :!: :!: FFS, even I've read that and I'm a m...

Re: Moving Phnom Pen, is this a terrible idea?
Where are you? UK? I just spent the last 4 depressing months there - my advice: get the fuck out ASAP. USA? Same advice. $3500 is a nice sum to bring. So long as you don't fall in love with a whore and blow it overnight (it happens a lot), it'll do you until you get a teaching gig. Your qualificati...

Moving Phnom Pen, is this a terrible idea?
First of all, hello 440! I want to move to Phnom Pen to try and get TEFL work however I'm not sure when would be the best time to arrive, or whether it really makes a difference. I have one of those 4 week TEFL course certs btw: Trinity CertTESOL. No other experience though. I've heard the likelihoo...
