Re: So about bringing a cell phone to Cambodia..
Awesome, sounds promising. :) Though I used past tense for a reason, will it still be feasible that they unlock my phone if I'm not with them anymore? I ended my contract with them back in January/February to save money. I'm not too worried if I had to resort to getting it unlocked in Cambodia, sinc...

Re: So about bringing a cell phone to Cambodia..
Alright, thanks for the responses. Also first time I've heard about the frequency bands, currently in United States. The carrier I had was with AT&T.

So about bringing a cell phone to Cambodia..
I'm clueless when it comes to phones, and I tried looking around for a question similar to mine but found none. Anyway, if I brought my phone (HTC Inspire) to Cambodia, would I be able to get a plan for it there? Possibly stupid question, thanks for bearing with me.

Re: Places to buy computer towers and monitors?
I just bought a 17.5" refurbished one from Newegg, not picky on the screen, or the tower as long as it has the space and a few fans like my current one. I built my current desktop so I'm not shy with taking it apart, and I'll only take it with me if the airlines will allow me to take them through se...

Places to buy computer towers and monitors?
I'll be arriving in PP in September and I'm looking into taking my desktop components with me, but not the larger items such as the tower and monitor. Would there be places to buy these that aren't horrible quality (if they work I'm good) and how much? Thanks you guys!

Re: Suppose I should introduce myself.
It sounds like, to me, everyone pretty much agrees, just says it in different way... BA= higher pay teaching.... @ the OP Don't be offended.. Get used to hearing that, but cuz teaching is often considered the "fall back plan." Was I an ESL teacher back home? Was I aiming to be? No and no. I conside...

Re: Suppose I should introduce myself.
Why do you assume I'm 'falling back' on teaching? That's pretty insulting, honestly. And once again (I'm pretty sure I've stated this twice already but I'm not sure?) I stated I plan on getting my BA. My concern for money is to get enough for food and shelter, otherwise I really don't give a shit ab...

Re: Suppose I should introduce myself.
, I also think I'll find something . I'd also like to think that I'm not a complete idiot, . U'll definitely find something.... And u will most likely have an entertaining story to tell us about ur first job that might turn u off of teaching as well... And good news for u! Even an idiot can get a C...

Re: Suppose I should introduce myself.
I hope I put this in the right place. Anyway, hi! I've been lurking these forums for a few months now, I'll be moving to Cambodia but not until early September. I'm 21, 22 in July, will be taking an online TEFL class (since the one I was going to take in Cambodia canceled the classes for later this...

Haha thanks!! I'm looking forward to getting to know and possibly meeting you guys later on down the road, this site seems pretty good from the time I've spent reading around.
