The whole free world think Trump is an asshole, except for HE and the US rednecks Outdated phrase. Was outdated first with the fall of the Communist Bloc, more outdated+ in the aftermath of 9/11 (police militarization, surveillance state, MENA carnage invasions and regime changes justified by lies ...

Re:
Generally speaking I think lard is healthier for most people than the filthy oils that Khmers typically cook with. Personally I stopped using vegetable oils when I moved from Cambodia in favor of ghee (my favorite) , coconut oil, and beef tallow. Ghee is da bomb! A most marvellous, forever-lasting,...

On the surface, they just seemed to be self-absorbed and preoccupied with their devices, but as I watched the woman use it to cut off the stewardess repeatedly, rolling her eyes and sighing everytime the stewardess tried to talk to her, putting the buds back in and looking down as soon as she hit t...

Re: NHS bars obese patients from treatment
Is that why when one opens a tube of Pringles with the girfriend in front of the TV they are finished in under 10 minutes? Once you pop you can't stop A mixture of hyper-palatibility and non-nourishment. Eat as many calories as are in a tube of Pringles but in eggs, you'll be absolutely satiated ei...

Re: NHS bars obese patients from treatment
How many times have you seen dark skinned subsistence farmers here that are in their 40's lean and completely ripped? They are living proof of what living on garden food and hard graft will do even with smoking, rice wine and too much rice thrown into the mix. Well, now. Subsistence farmers could e...

Re: NHS bars obese patients from treatment
If governments were serious about obesity they would stop promoting the "Food Pyramid," which promotes a diet heavy in grains and cereals. Well, though I've come to despise such foods, let's face it, that stuff alone won't make anyone morbidly obese by itself. (Especially cereals and grains are "fi...

Re: 4 years old with a mouth full of rotten teeth - WWYD?
For those who talked about fluoridation, I'm not sure if getting my niece to swallow fluoride tablets is feasible (?), but I'd shell out a bit more for jugs of fluoridated water if they sell them? (Where?) Or fluoridating it myself if there are supplies for that? (Where?) Thanks! As far as fluoride...

Re: 4 years old with a mouth full of rotten teeth - WWYD?
Sorry for the quick off-topic (btw, for teeth ---if I wasn't already on a dietary regimen entirely compatible with human teeth and thus no need for tooth care--- I'd swear by anything Xylitol, if the family can afford it; research it, not sure if it can fix such a broken black mouth but would be goo...

Re: Banks covering their assets
Part of a global "trend" I reckon.. just page 1 of results googling for "banking lcr 2020". Thailand: The Bank of Thailand has imposed the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) Framework which replaces the maintenance 6 percent reserve requirement. Regarding the LCR framework, all banks shall maintain high...

Re: 25 years of the World Wide Web
the internet was made available to the public 25 years ago today This warrants minor nitpicking on my part: the Web, not the Net, is now 25 years old. The Internet itself had been in place for some 2 decades by then and during that time slowly evolving various "Internet protocols" (such as email, F...
