Re: After a Miscarriage
I understand, sorry. I was a bit rough. It's easier to bring across what I originally typed face to face than in text. LL had a rather nice suggestion - that you plant a tree above whatever remains are released. That could give you something to re-visit in future, if you need to. I'm a father mysel...

Re: After a Miscarriage
Have the service and move on. Forget about cremation/burial. It's a nine week old embryo, not a child. Sorry to be blunt & sorry for your trouble, but there's a reason pregnancy does not really count until 12 weeks. Better luck next time. I sure hope this reply was well-intentioned, but even if it w...

After a Miscarriage
I just had a miscarriage on Saturday and I'm not really sure what I can do with the remains of my baby here in Cambodia. Back home, I would have buried it in our family garden but that's not an option here since we are just renting and we don't even know how long we will stay here. I'm Catholic and ...

Re: Pharmacies
I always go to u-care because the pharmacists are always accommodating. But I recently discovered this pharmacy beside Lucky Sihanouk, Sang Vath Pich (i hope i got it right). I need a lot of meds for my pregnancy, I already bought some in U-care but they dont have one of the meds I need so my husban...

Re: Pregnancy in Cambodia
Hi Dan. i'm very happy to hear about your positive experience with Dr. Ly. If my post helped at least one mother (or in your case a couple) expecting a baby, then I have done my job. :) I still have some posts to add in the future when i find time to sit down and write everything (russian ob-gyn, mo...

Re: Pregnancy in Cambodia
Last part (3 of 3) So we left and my husband said, let's get a 2nd opinion (this whole routine is getting costly I tell you...) and he asked me which doctor I wanted to see. I said I've been reading about this Russian doctor, I think she's called Dr. Anna and maybe we could see her. I went to her we...

Re: Pregnancy in Cambodia
Continuation...2 of 3 Sunday came around and my rashes were still the same but in the afternoon they started to get itchy and I was having a difficult time swallowing. I read somewhere that I shouldn't just put anything on my skin without asking my doctor. My husband and I went to Calmette but misse...

Re: Pregnancy in Cambodia
1 of 3 When I first found out I was pregnant, the first thing I did was try to know what my healthcare options are here in Cambodia. This is one of the threads that I stumbled on, but honestly, after reading 9 pages worth of arguing, debating and bickering, I was none the wiser. So I promised myself...
